Creatures and Creations at Waddesdon Manor

Exhibition Launch Dinner hosted by Lord Rothschild and Wendy Yu

To celebrate the launch of the Creatures and Creations exhibition at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire, Lord Rothschild and Wendy Yu opened the doors of the former Rothschild residence to celebrate Mary’s exhibition couture contributions. Built in the 19th century to entertain high society’s thinkers and influencers, Waddesdon Manor served as the perfect backdrop to the dinner. Held in the opulent White Room, the soiree was attended by friends of the hosts and honoured guests included Eugenie Niachos, Sabine and Joseph Getty, Elisabeth von Thurn and Taxis, James Rothschild and Nicky Hilton Rothschild.
The exhibition, featuring three couture dresses inspired by Walter Tring’s creatures collection from the National History Museum at Tring, is open to the public at Waddesdon Manor until the 27th October 2017 with exclusive homeware pieces from the collection available to purchase at the exhibition pop up and online.
